News I’ve started writing some NFL football “TIPS” for a fledgling
sports-betting site www.betonfootball.us
if anyone interested in seeing my prognostication skills. Basically I’ll be
offering up a Pick of the Week (maybe two depending on the games, and then
doing a quick rundown of my thoughts in the other games (which I place no faith
in!) for the week.
Now, I rarely make a sports-wager, I bet a single NFL season
back in 2005 when Sportsbook.com handed me a free $50 in sports-bets and
proceeded to go 13-1 before cashing out my $2,500. I haven’t placed a
sports-bet since, but I do fairly well handicapping the games nonetheless …. As
you’ll see by my first column on this past Thursday’s games where I won my Pick
of the Day and also was spot on in the Ravens/49ers gamed where I predicted a
Ravens cover and a field-goal battle (although I was a little high on the final
score).
You can check out my two picks of the week at the site --they
should be up and posted first thing in the morning. I chose the Bengals/Browns
and the Patriots/Eagles for the Games of the Week, and also give you a little
insight on where to find the best betting lines online, considering
BetOnline.com has the Pats as 3 point favorites while Bodog.com has the Pats
listed as 3.5 favorites.
